Quick Conditioning Session Tried not to push it too hard, my legs are still pretty sore. Gonna have to really loosen up tomorrow before deads. Sled Sprints all sprints about 40 yards 25 x 2 45 x 4 70 x 4 2 x 50 yards, no sled Was going to go for a long sprint but I could feel some tightness and tweaking in my left hamstring. So I slowed up and shut it down. No reason to get hurt on a conditioning session.

Thursday Good Session
Solid training today, I am still working on my sumo form. So it does not quite feel natural all the time. Once I get a lot more practice I am hoping it goes a lot better. I managed to hit my reps today and that is all that counts Speed Box Squats *plus light band 145x5 195x2 235x6 sets x 2 reps Sumo Deadlifts 135x 5 225x3 315x2 singles 365x1 405 x 2 singles 470 x 2 This was a grind and not very pretty Speed Deads 385 x 6 sets x 3 reps These were brutal Circuit, 3 rounds minimal rest Stiff Legged Deads 275x3 x8 Barbell Rows 225 x 3 x 8 Chin Ups BW x 3 x 8 Good Mornings w/ cambered x 200 x 3 x 8 Feel like death right now, need to get in some serious calories. Time to start putting on weight slowly. Going to try to do a somewhat clean bulk. Bottom line is I am stronger when I am heavier. Will still keep an eye on my fatness though. Week 4 of this cycle will be brutal, 495x2, might have to do 2 singles. Then it resets a little. I will also be going on vacation the first week of september which fits perfectly into this cycle. Then I can come back and grind it out until the end. 3 weeks in and I feel stronger.

Friday Quick Training Session
Solid, hit an ohp PR, moved quickly, got things to do this weekend. Standing OHP 95x5 115x5 135x3 155x2 185x1 210x1 PR!! 160 x 10, 4 (50% set, hit a max rep set, rest briefly then try to hit 50% of that set) Weights were cleaned into place, very happy with this PR! Dips BW x 15 plus 25 x 12 plus 50 x 8 or 9 plus 25 x 16 BW x 20 Pull Ups BW x 8 plus 25 x 6 plus 50 x 5 plus 25 x 8 BW x 12 Back was a little sore, but still hit some pull ups. Very tough to clean the weights into place, posterior chain is hurting from yesterday

Thanks steve really crazy weekend! It was my buddy's bachelor party and I am the best man in his wedding. Basically the last two days I am running on only a few hours of sleep. But it was a good time!! Time to try to recover before work tomorrow, big squat day tomorrow!
