Went to LA fitness this morning at 5am again, tomorrow will be the last day of that. Also hit a quick workout after work, since most people work doing some kind of workout before happy hour time!! AM Workout Klokov Press 95x2x3 115x3 135x2 singles 155x miss 155x 2 singles 135x1 single 145x3 singles This is a man maker, when these get heavy they are mostly will power. It was crazy, 135 flew up and then 155 nailed me. So I came back and got crazy Hang Snatch 95x2x5 115x3 135x2 singles 155x 5 singles Pushed for speed and short rest Yates Rows 185x2x12 205x2x 8 Chest Supported Rows 3 plates x 2 x 6 3 plates & 25 x 2 x 5 3 plates x 5 Have not done these for a long time. Had my eye on them, but someone was using it so I filled my time with yates rows. Solid morning session, no squats today, hoping to hit a lot of volume tomorrow. PM Workout at the hotel gym, done in a rotation, less than 30 seconds rest, only took about 15-20 minutes Pull Ups 6 sets x various grips x 8-12 Dips 6 sets x 12-15 Abs Either ab wheel or decline situps Very quick session, just got a little extra volume in. Hoping for a solid session tomorrow and then will take some rest. If anything will hit some arms on thursday. That's about it.

Wednesday Squat Until Death
So today, I squatted for probably an hour and a half or so. Felt awesome and strong. Could of pushed the weight heavier but opted for some volume. I did not go to the gym until after work, due to a little too much fun Tuesday night. Not feeling very good at 4 in the morning, too much beer and tacos. Squats 135x2x5 225x2x3 275x3 315x3 365x1 385x1 405x1 425x1, this is the best squat I have hit for a while with no wraps 365 x 4 sets x 3 reps Pause Squats 315 x 3, 2, 2 225x3x3 Squat to Press 135x3x3 First time ever doing these. I like them, maybe something to consider on off days. This is the best my squat has felt probably since my competition. I am loving my Chucks again, and my form is getting better and better. Was hitting depth pretty easily today. Training will be pretty easy for the next few days. Tomorrow will probably do arms or something like that. Friday and Saturday off, sunday maybe. Back at it on Monday, going to run the Strong 15 template from Lift Run Bang, with some extra days in there.

Great work in here jwood. Big Squats. And I've never seen that klokov press before. Looked it up, it looks like a pretty tough OHP variation.

Thursday Quick Arm Workout
Going home tomorrow and i am really looking forward to it. 2 weeks in a hotel is a long time. I have had a great time here, maybe too much drinking but its been good. One more night of craziness and then a test tomorrow and then off to the airport. Hit a quick session today. Tate Press 30s x 15 40s x 2 x 12 50s x 10 70s x 5, this was tough 50s x 8 Hammer Curls 30s x 15 40s x 2 x 10 50s x 4 x 8 Tricep Pushdown 120x15 150x 3 x 15 Cable Curls 35 each arm x 12 50 each arm x 2x10 60 each arm x 6 That is it, going to try to pack now before the craziness begins. And I do not want to forget anything.

Monday
Today was my first day in the field and it was crazy. I need to adjust and prepare better. This week will be nuts because I am going to be all over the state. So I am just going to do what I can with food and water and stuff like that. I packed some shakes and sandwiches should get me through the day. At the end of the day today I was hot and tired, but got in my training. Weights felt heavy Bench Press 135x5 165x5 185x4 225x3 245x2 255x1 265x1 280x1 225x18, not a PR but a decent number Pull Ups BW x 8 Plus 30 pound chain x bw x 3 x 6 Not good at all Skull Crushers 45 plus Short Mini x 10 65 plus short mini x 3 x 8 Inverted rows on rope 2x15 Band Pushdown Light band x 2x around 30 That is it, I was wore out. I had no energy to do anything else. I need to adjust to my new job and get my body used to the east coast again. After this week everything should be fine. It works well because I am starting the Strong 15 template this week, so the first week is really light. Not sure if I am going to deadlift also. Need to make some decisions there. Might wait until saturday to deadlift.
