One thing I can say for sure is after squatting in flat shoes for the first time in a while and my hamstrings and glutes are killing me. They have not been this sore in a long time, maybe it is a coincidence but I do not think so.

I do not really notice a difference in my ankles, but I never have had any issues with them.

Thursday OHP
Pretty good training session even though I felt terrible. Was out in field today at work, in the heat and the only thing around to eat was macdonalds, did not get to pack my lunch from all the holiday madness. So it made me feel terrible and workout was slow paced Close Grip Speed Bench 135 plus short monster minis x 6 x 3 Standing OHP 95x5 115x4 135x3 145x2 170x1 150x 11 This is a good sign, 10 more pounds than last week and only 1 less rep. That means next week I should match that. Progress DB Row 80s x 2 x 12 Seated Cable Row 205x 5 sets x 10 reps Done very strict Dips BW x 2 x 12 Plus light band x 10 plus average band x 10, 9, 7, 6 These wear down the triceps fast, there is a lot of tension at the top Face Pulls 50x20 90x15 130x 3 x 12 Turned out to be a decent session. Nothing crazy, but everything went pretty well. Stomach is really feeling off, going to have a nice salad for dinner and probably just a protein shake later. Need to get things under control before I spend 2 weeks in phoenix eating junk food everyday. Good 2 week bulk should be good though.

Friday Turned out to be a decent workout
I got out of work super early today so I wanted to train when I got home. But I really just did not know what to do, I am a little limited right now trying to get my back to heal. So decided I would have to do some gun work, went to the basement no motivation. So I called myself some choice words and forced myself out into the afternoon heat for some sprints. Mobility Drills, good warm up and also conditioning Sprints 40 yards x 6 sprints Just walked back and went again. This got my motivation up, and it is like 100 degrees outside. Not sure of weights and sets so I will just list exercises BB curls super set with Single OH tri extension 6-8 sets of at least 10 reps Tri Pushdown and Hammer curls Think I did 3 sets here Abs Decline situps Going to do some rolling out and stretching. Squats tomorrow, probably some for of speed squats and then it is off to arizona for 2 weeks. I have my eye on a gym that is close to my hotel, check it out: Welcome to Thorbecke's Gym, a Weightlifting Club!
