Wednesday Conditioning
Got out of work somewhat early, so I hit some very good work today. Dynamic warm ups A little over 1 mile jog (I hate running) Sled Sprints Just sled x 2 x 30 yards 45 x 6 sprints x 25 yards *these were done in a rest pause manner, 15 deep breaths and then back at it 45x 2 x 50 yards Sprinted there and walked back, walking with the sled is very difficult. Core Work Poor man reverse hyper 3 x 10 Decline Sit Ups- bw x 2 x 20, plus 25 x 2 x 15 Side bends 4 x 12 each side Need to focus on core strength a lot more. Needs to be a focus, so I can lift heavier weights. Good session.

Thursday OHP
Pretty good session today, I need to play with the percentages on OHP. I think I need heavier weights working up and then a bigger drop off for the rep set. Speed Bench *all sets plus mini bands 135x3 155x6sets x 3 reps 135x3 OHP 95x5, 4 115x3 135x2 160x1 145x 13 Win, up one rep from last week Felt very explosive on my first sets, need to hit a heavier weight before backing down. DB Row, strict to save low back 80s x 12 120s x 2 x 8 130s x 3 x 6 120s x 2 x 10 Hit a lot more volume than I thought while doing these Dips BW x 15 plus 30 chain x 2 x 15 plus 30 chain x 14, 12 BW x 20, 16 Died on the last set, dips are feeling much stronger! Neutral Pull Ups BW x 3 x 10 Tricep Pushdown 150 x 3 x 20 Hit it pretty hard today, feeling good right now. Allowing my bodyweight to start to creep up a little. I know I have 2 weeks away coming up so I will probably drop some weight, but I will find a gym to train at somewhere. Bw tonight was 210, up a couple pounds in the last few weeks. Added in some peanut butter and a couple bananas at night. Delicious. Training is going well, conditioning is getting much better while strength should be on the rise!!!

Saturday Good Session
Hit some front squats yesterday, was heading to the beach so I got it in. Back is feeling good, need to keep hitting the core hard. Front Squats 135x2x5 185x3 225x3 245x5 singles Need to continue to work on these, wanted to stay light and keep my form tight. Pull Throughs Unknown weight x 3 x 15 Decline Sit ups bw x 4 x 15-20 Poor Man Reverse Hypers BW x 4 x 15 Good workout, good recovery. Hitting strongman later today, should be awesome.

Strongman Sunday
Had a nice lazy sunday, waited for Boucher to get done for at 5 to train. We did a fairly quick session, it was terribly hot again here today. Tire A lot of warmups 4-6 sets of 1-2 flips Timed Sets 1 Minute, 2 rounds Round 1-I think 11 flips Round 2- around 8-9 flips Tough to keep track of the number of flips, 1 minute is a very long time when you are flipping a tire. Circus Dumbell Kinda (2 arm clean and 1 arm press, with fat gripz) 60 x 3 each arm 80s x 1 each arm 110s x 3 singles each arm 90s x 6 each arm to finish up This is a very awkward movement on the shoulders, lots of stabilization when push pressing one DB Good session, low back felt pretty good. Did not get any real pain. Going to wait 3 more weeks to deadlift, really because after next sunday I will be in phoenix for 2 weeks. So it will depend on what kind of gym I can find.
