Alright deload is complete 2 workouts to log here
Friday Night Training-not really a deload Decided to just do the log and some pull ups but ending up doing a fair amount of work on the log, o well. It was fun Log Clean and Press 105x2x5 145x3 165x2 195x1 215x1 225xmiss, on the press 195 x 8 singles I am missing weight due to technique issues on the clean. So I dropped weight and figured some stuff out. Really helped, the last couple of reps were the easiest and the clean portion was just flying up. Ready to hit a PR now Pull Ups 5-6 sets x 8-12 ish

Saturday DE Squats
Speed squats to low box **all sets plus light band 145x5 195x3 235x10 sets x 2 reps Thoughts on box squats and other things coming tonight KB swings 100 x 3 sets x 10 reps GHR bW x 12 mini band x 3 x 10 Abs on GHR BW x 4 x 15-20 Side Bends 55s x 15 each 60s x 3 x 10 Deload is pretty much complete. Gonna see how I feel tomorrow and may just do some sled dragging. Some thoughts on my training to come later tonight or tomorrow. I have been analyzing the last couple months and years of training to find common themes.

Sunday Training
Solid session today felt pretty good. Being that I went out last night and had a good buzz going on. Felt fine this morning, just need to make up some calories right now. Power Cleans 135x2x3 185x3 205x1 225x1 235x1 245x1 255x1 Stopped here, just did not feel like I was going to be able to hit anything heavier so I changed gears a bit. Fat Grip Cleans 135x2x3 155x3 185x 3 singles These are a completely different movement than regular cleans. Sprints with tire sled Tire x 2 x 25 yards Tire plus 45 x 4 x 25 yds Tire plus 90 x 2 x 25, Wow! Tire plus 45 x 2 x 25 The sprints with 2 45s were very hard. A little slow but I liked it. Overall happy with the session today. This week I am going to start carb backloading. I am going to keep it pretty clean here. My carbs are going to come mostly from brown rice, sweet potatoes, things like that. Not gonna go crazy on the carbs. Will do a lot of tweaking along the way.

Big Session to come off of a deload with. Those are some heavy power cleans.
Some pretty intense conditioning work as well. Good stuff. Interested to hear about how the carb backloading goes. I am going to try and drop weight this summer. My first steps are going to be to cut out cheese and limit carbs to brown rice and sweet potatoes. Seeing you doing the same thing tells me I'm on the right track.
