Another solid workout, I am feeling very strong right now!! ME Floor Press 135x2x5 185x3 225x3 255x1 285x1 315x1 335x1, PR really good pause at the bottom 350x1 PR!! 315x3 This felt awesome, the weights felt great, really focused today! Push Press *minimal leg drive 135x5 185x3 205x3 225x2x3 These felt strong also Pendlay Rows 135x10 225x5 245x2x5 245x8, just went for it here Tricep extensions w/. chains 4x12 with a lot of chains Not as hard as I expected it to be, kinda disappointing. Neutral Grip Pull downs to chin 180x10 225x10 250x2x8 225x10 Wide Fat Pushdowns 70x15 115x3x10-12 lost count Pull Ups on Ropes 3x8-10 Very happy with this training session. My body felt great today, I hope this wave rolls right into my competition!!! Having a lot of fun and feeling really focused. supplement thoughts: ZMA-I have been taking this for a few weeks now, dosing at 2 caps rather than the suggested 3, and it really puts me into a deeper sleep. No more waking up to go to the bathroom, well rarely. I find I am having crazier dreams, which for me means deeper sleep. Muscletech Neuro Core-solid product, very similar to Jack3d but with better focus. Some nights it works a lot better for me. Good clean energy, I have been limiting to about a scoop and a half on most workouts. Seems to be working pretty well.

Friday Night Training
I really enjoy doing hang cleans, they are just fun. Just pick up the weight and get it to your chest as fast as possible! Hang Cleans 135x2x3 185x3 205x3 225x5x3 Wow, not really a PR or anything but the most sets of 3 I have done with 225 Cleans w/ Fat Gripz 135x2x3 185x1 Need to work on these a lot, 135 is a joke, but when I went to 185 the weight slammed down on the basement floor pretty hard. That is an indicator I need to work my grip. I will start working these more, the weight has to stay light so there is little effect on my body. Should not bother anything else really. Fun workout again, now it is time to crush food until I pass out!! Speed squats tomorrow, gonna go pretty heavy on conventional deads, I think to see how they feel.

Each pill is 500 mg, so taking 1000mg about 30 mins to an hour before bed. I am thinking next week I will up it to 3 pills a full serving and see if it makes a difference.

Saturday DE Squats Heavy deads
Today was a pretty good session. I did not have a lot of energy when I woke up today, not sure why. There was a lot of negative energy in the gym, not sure why. Guys are a little frustrated with the gear and stuff. DE Box Squats *very low box, almost too low 135x2x5 225x2x3 add Light Bands 225x3 245x9x2 Short rest in between, focused on getting tight and exploding off the box Conventional Deadlifts 225x3 315x1 405x1 455x1 495x1 These felt decent, not great. I think I am going to stick with sumo for this meet. I may work up to 500 next saturday to feel it out. That will be the last heavy dead work. Split Squats, back leg elevated holding DBs 25s x 8 50s x 5 sets x 6 reps These are a killer! KB swings 55 lb KB with light band x 3 sets x 12 reps Back Extensions bw x 3 x 20 Hip Work with bands 3x20 Good work overall. Pretty happy with this. Not sure what I am gonna do tomorrow. Depends on the weather. But Monday is going to be paused bench press, hoping to hit 315 for some singles. Tuesday will be heavy squats with chains, not sure if I will use a box or not. Leaning towards no.

Sunday a little disappointing
Well I woke up today and I am sore as can be. My hips hurt, my low back is kinda sore my glutes and quads are tore up. So I did some training anyway. Log Clean and Press 105x5 145x3 195x1 215x1 240x0, got the clean but missed the press, would have been a PR 145x5 clean only, working on being explosive I need to start working on my clean with the log, it is fine with lighter weights but if I plan to keep moving up I need to work on it. I feel I am wasting a lot of energy on the clean and then I have nothing left. Just need practice Squats starting at bottom position *these just did not go well 135x2x3 185x3 225x3 275x1 315x1 Called it there, hips were dead, could not get into position. I do not want to tweak my low back right now. Fat Grip Clean and Press 135x3x5 Just a little practice with this. Soon I will move my clean work outside so I can go heavier and not worry about the floor Did some decline sit ups and called it a day. I am going to try to really pack in some calories today, my body needs it. Tomorrow is DE bench, I am thinking I will use chains, and then OHP will be light. I think BTN press standing should be good and a nice stretch.
