Wanted to loosen up tonight and get some of the stress worked off from work. Jump Rope Super set with box jumps 3 sets x 60 sec jump rope/ 3 box jumps Keg Carries 5 sets x about 100 feet Limited rest in between sets Jump Rope/ Box Jump Super set 3 sets x 60 secs / 3 jumps Felt good, limiting the reps on jumps to focus on explosion and form. Big deadlift workout tomorrow, 405 for reps. Hoping for a huge number, but I really have no idea what I will get. Time to get crazy!

Saturday Not So Great
I made the fatal mistake when planning a cycle, I programmed my deadlift too heavy. Just did not go well today, I had a couple more reps in me but nowhere near ten. I am going to continue with the cycle, I will just drop back my deadlifts a little. Deadlifts 135x5,3 225x3,2 315x2 singles 365x1 405 x 6 405x4 These felt pretty terrible, I knew after the first rep I was no where near ten so I decided to split it in half. I am not going to get upset by this lift, just need to reset and program smarter, no big deal. Yoke Bar Box Squats, low box 90x10 180x5 230x5x5 180x10 I did these with a very close stance, more like an olympic squat. These felt great. Prowler Explosions 70 x 3 sets x 10 reps Push as fast as possible for 10 yards, 10 second break go again Disappointing session, but I am still satisfied. I need to work more on my conventional deads, I have not done them for a while and should have programmed smarter. Tomorrow I am going to do some strongman, but probably do more speed work and keg work. Nytric was still good today. I got some crazy pumps in my legs while doing the prowler. It was painful.

Sunday Strongman
Felt much better today, and had a good time training. I woke up this morning and just said to myself, what can I do today that will be fun and kind of a deload day. Hit some tire and keg work, upped the intensity. Did a DE tire workout, I would call it. Hang Snatches-warm up 95x3x5 Tire-Speed Flips 10 sets x 3 reps-60 seconds rest Really pushed for speed on the reps and attacked the tire, had to focus on form because it was slippery and wet out. Keg Clean and Press Full keg of water x 16 singles -I feel these will really help my log c&p, the keg is basically a really wide log, same technique. You have to really use your hips to clean the keg into place. And the water is just brutal Sledge Hammer/Jump Rope Super Set 3 rounds Sledge x 10 each side Jump Rope x 100 jumps Rather than speed on the sledge I really focused using as much force as possible. Training felt great today, should not affect my body too much. More of a high intensity recovery workout, if that exists. Felt great, I think I have been taking too much pre workout. I make this mistake all the time, I slowly allow my serving size to gradually sneak up until it bothers me and I reset. So this week I will really limit the amount I take. Nytric: Today this stuff was great. After doing sledge work, I was blown up and had some serious veins coming out. This stuff works, that is all.

Next go around, will be 410, I dropped back the weights a bit. So I will push the reps for 8 plus

Monday Bench Press
Feeling great today, had another fun workout. Really cut back on the pre workout, just enough to get me going and then the weights take over Close Grip Bench Press 135x2x5 185x5 225 x 7 sets x 5 reps 225x10 (8 plus set, not to failure) All sets were done on 60 seconds rest, except the last set was about two minutes. And I also paused the first rep on each set. DB Rows-strict 70s x 10 80s x 10 90s x 10 Huge Drop Set 100s x 10, 90s x 10, 80s x 10, 70s x 10 No rest between these, went through left arm first and then the right, intense! DB Incline Neutral Grip 70s x 2 x10 80s x 2 x 8 I like these, they hit my triceps harder Face Pulls Neutral Grip 70x 20 115x3 x 15 Awesome pump Fat Grip pushdowns Plus mini band 110 x 15 130x 12 150x 10 130x10 110x8 Deep burn Great session today, my lower back is very sore. But should be good to go by Wednesday, I am going take it pretty easy tomorrow. Nytric was great today, has some awesome pumps all over!

Tuesday Quick Workout
I have been experimenting with different types of conditioning, I think tuesday needs to be a day off. Just do some warm ups and mobility work, and call it a day. Going to experiment with this, I think I am just stressing my body too much. Bear 95 x 5 sets x 5 reps This was tough, weights were super easy but still a lot of work.
