thanks Kuyt , not a bad plan ... maybe when the weight gets too heavy to lift off the floor to my chest i might revisit this!
Ah, so you also clean it from the floor to your chest. I rarely bother using the rack to set the bar because I am confident that my clean strength is superior to my press strength right now.

Ha, finally found the journal. Sessions look good. I hate deloads too, so I only do them every 7 weeks.

Last week was the first time I did deloads in over a year. Wasn't really training hard enough to justify them to be honest but felt beat up after lots of hard weeks and decided it was a good idea. Your body will thank you for it

5/3/1 Cycle 2 Wk 1
Deadlift

Deadlift 531
[Goal] Actual
[100x5] 100x5
[110x5] 110x5
[120x5+] 120x3

stop at 3 reps and go for 3 singles
150x1
150x1
160x1 PR

decided that wk 1 of the cycles should be used to consolidate any gains made on wk 3 of the previous cycle.
got stuck into these today and the 1st single felt really easy , 2nd wasnt much tougher so got greedy and went for a PR . i love bening greedy

Assistance

1.Pulls ups (wide grip): 4 sets AMAP [8,6,7,6]
2.T-Bar Rows: 5 sets of 5 (60kgs)
3.Chin ups: 3 sets AMAP [6,5,4]

ABz
4.(a) Hanging straight leg raise: 4 sets of 15 SS with
(b) DB side bends: 4 sets of 15 (20kgs plate)

Notes
missed the second half of last weeks deload so couldnt wait to get back to it today.
after 4 hrs sleep i wasnt very hopeful but got stuck in and even managed a new PR..

question for all : i dont wear a belt , at what weight should i consider wearing one while training?
any good ones i should steer towards?
