Thanks Steve, had planned on going down as far as 93/94kgs , but I think im gonna sit tight at 97/98 for now, meet is about 7 weeks out so that should be my main focus for now.

Great job with the weight loss. That's a bummer about the trouble on the top set, but I imagine things like that are bound to happen considering you are A.) losing weight and b.)doing BBB while losing weight.
Wendler says you can only serve one master and right now your master is dropping pounds. In other words, don't sweat it too much. I think what you're experiencing is predictable and normal.

Congrats on the weight loss mate, and don't worry about the squats - could've been caused by the weight loss or could just be your head wasn't in it, just one of those sessions. Keep up the hard work man.

Good call focusing on the meet, squats will get back up there once you get some extra cals in. Congrats on the weight loss though, 7kg in 6 weeks is pretty rapid.

Good work man, probably takes some time to adjust to the "new" bw. Crush it next squat day.

I think you are spot on , still doesn’t make it any easier to digest when its happening!

It was probably too aggressive to be honest , but at least now I can focus on the meet and not be worrying about making the weight class.

Squats and bloody bench strike again on weight loss. Just keep them close to your best and smash the deadlift and all will be well

I'm glad I didn't take you up on your bet cos you've lost 7kg to my 4.5kg in 6 weeks I demand your secrets young man!

170kg squat is still good work, the difference 2.5kg makes is amazing, especially when dropping some weight. You may well have hit 167.5kgx 2 or even 3. The body is a lie!!!
