Strong pulling once again mate.

40 pull ups is a great acheivement. I once did 50 reps - took me awhile and my lats were sore for a week, so I can appreciate the 40 reps.

40 pullups would take me most of the day and I'd need an othopedic shirt afterwards, so well done young man!

Good stuff, Mark!

That's some lovely volume at that weight. Hard work, challenging but not utterly gruelling (I hope!). I'd say you would be good for 12-15 chins in a single set? 40 reps during a session is fine work. I find that chins are a nice warm up. The ideal exercise

3/5/1 Cycle 3 Wk 1

Squat
[Goal] Actual
[132.5x3] 132.5x3
[147.5x3] 150x3
[167.5x3+] 170x1 x1 x1

Assistance
1.Squats: 5 sets of 10 – 80kgs
2.Hanging Straight Leg Raise : 5 sets of 15
3.SS with Leg Curls: 5 sets of 6 – 30kgs

Notes
Got lazy loading the bar and then suffered for it on the top set.
Did 3 singles at 170kg cause I couldn’t get the 3+ out.
Ridiculous.
That said I am now down to 98kgs from 105kg (in 6 weeks) so most likely the reason for my crap squat lately.
