Yep, Steve taught me recently about the importance of priming that CNS with smaller jumps as you approach your working sets. Tested it out and worked like a charm. I also like doing some very light squats or Goblet Squats to warm up for deads - not that you need more squats in that routine, but hey, the more the merrier right?
![]() I'm not surprised either that the 20 repper did not compute, after all the deads and 3 sets of triples. Just go for 1 or 2 more reps next time.

I have also started doing proper warmups, and it have made a noticable difference in my compound lifts....
