T NATION | 5/3/1 Reloaded I have also tried it and loved it. Will likely do it again. Adding in the heavy singles really makes you earn & want deload week.

5/3/1 Cycle 3 Wk 1
Deadlift Deadlift 531 [Goal] Actual [100x5] 100x5 [110x5] 110x5 [120x5+] 120x5 stop at 5 and onto singles 160x1 - this flew up so said i would up my game 170x1 PR 170x1 170x1 the 160 flew up so i said id have a shot at the 170Kg which was a Pr , really happy about this cause the first one went up good , the second and third were only ok , but it means i should be lifting 180 by the time Feb 4th comes around. Assistance 1.WGPU's: 4 sets of AMAP (10,8,7,7) 2.Pendlay Row: 5 sets of 10 (60kg) ABZ 3.Hanging Straight Leg Raise : 4 sets of 15 4.DB Side Bends : 4 sets of 10 (30Kg DB) Notes went missing for the christmas week completely. didnt worry about diet or anything just had a really good week and a half - it seems the break worked well for me. ready to tear into it for this month on the run in to Feb 4th happy new year to all! |
