Nobody can fail as awesome as the Aggies.....Texans are finally trying their hardest to get out of the gutter.
Whew!! trained 6 clients in 4 hours and was done with my day before most people eat breakfast. Did some grocery shopping to convince myself to eat better. With my calorie reduction since surgery I'm already down 4 pounds, barf. I have not tried the Muscle Marinade products yet. I had gotten into a pretty stable rotation of Jack3d, White Flood, Animal Rage, and 1.M.R. Was going to try MusclePharm's Assault when I started training again, and I'll give the one you suggested a try BTB |

good to see you back at it. Not nice having to deliberately NOT lift heavy weights, but lifting 20lbs is better then not lifting at all

Nothing new to report. Impressed with myself at how disciplined I have been in not touching weights. Going to see the doc on Tues so hopefully he tells me something good.
Getting a little burned out on training at the moment, although it will be slow for the next 6-7 weeks since most of my clients have to take their vacations. My girlfriend has 3 (THREE!!!) weeks off she has to take before the end of December. Speaking of my girl, I am very proud of her. Went to San Antonio with her this weekend to watch her run the Rock 'N' Roll Half Marathon . She had been sick for the past two weeks and was signed up for the Full, but thankfully her friends were able to talk her into running the half with them. Despite her sickness and lack of training she still set a PR in her Half time.

Two more weeks of no lifting.....excited to get back into it...in a twisted sort of way this break has renewed my focus and my fire, so here's hoping I get back on track to reaching my lifting goals soon.

Couldn't take it any longer, had to do something today. Officially one more week before I try to do my usually exercises, but had to do SOMETHING today, so decided to try some machines out.
Machine Incline Chest Press: 4x15,15,12,10 Pec-Deck: 3x10 Machine Preacher Curl: 4x12 Chest Supported Row: 2x10 TRX Rows: 2x15 Probably gonna do light stuff like this next week as well, then get back to normal routines once I'm "cleared" Aggies fire their head coach and Texans are down to their third string quarterback...oh joy |

Kept it pretty simple again today too, not getting too crazy. Determined to squat bench and deadlift next week.
Dips 3x8 (holy crap i've lost a lot of strength) Tried pullups but stretched my abdomen too much and could definitely feel a tug. Cable Rows 2x15 Standing Cable Rows 2x15 V-Bar Pushdowns 3x15 Behind the back Cable Lateral Raises 3x12 DB Straight Leg Deadlift 2x10 -Superset- DB Walking Lunges 2x10 Machine Overhead Press 2x12 Machine Chest Press 7x10 |
