Actually I'm spending the weekend in Wilmslow with family, but no normally i'm down in the Midlands now.

Yeah it's a lovely city, I have a lot of fond memories from that place. In fact I may well be buying a house-to-let there soon in the same area I used to live as a student.

Ah I see, I have family around the midlands but haven't ventured down in a while now.

Certainly a worthwhile investment. It was a toss up for me between Manchester and Liverpool for university, I went with the more familiar but I must admit I'm beginning to prefer Liverpool as a city, probably because it's a nice break when I go there.

This week should be a "deload" but for multiple reasons, it is not. First, I'm an idiot and can't count the weeks before I go home for christmas, at which point having a decent gym is unlikely. This with the fact that I feel my strongest ever right now meant that I am squeezing 1 more cycle in. This week the 4 lifts will be in 2 sessions, next week I will try and have them over 4 and the week after I haven't decided fully whether I will just abandon the 5/3/1 sets or just use them as a warm up for a PBtastic 1RM session on the big 3.

Today was a very good deadlift/push press day. I'll post when I am full, it might be a while!

29/11/11 - Push Press 3x3/Deadlift 3x3 + Singles

Deadlift (Overhand then hook)
60kg x 5
70kg x 5
85kg x 3

100kg x 3
112.5kg x 3
127.5kg x 3

+belt for singles
150kg x 1
165kg x 1 PB
170kg x 1 PB

Push Press
25kg x 5
32.5kg x 5
37.5 kg x 3

45kg x 3
50kg x 3
57.5kg x 6

Pendlay Rows
57.5kg x 10,10,10,10,10

Barbell Curl/Rear Lats
25kg/8kg's x 12/10, 10/10

Videos of PB's, someone took my camera stand/bench for concentration curls on the second and wouldn't shut the f*ck up either. Everything felt good today and thanks to some good pointers on deadlift in summer over on M&S my lower back never feels strained like it used to even after everything today. 170kg was my readjusted year end goal as of 2/3 months ago, I have a new goal in mind and it will be smashed!

Why not. If you are feeling good have at it!

Your 170 deadlift look fluid and easy. Solid form. You have a lot of good things coming with that lift.

Thank you. I'm hoping so BtB, much appreciated feedback.

I think I ate too much in celebration of PB's today, I cannot concentrate and moving is not an option right now
