Great work J. It's amazing to think that sessions can feel brutal when you feel fresh and strong yet they work out well when you feel like crap. We mention this very often here because it's very true,
I'd always put 9.99999 as my RPE for heavy squats! @Fazc, that post WAS very helpful indeed. Thanks

Just finished stretching and eating. Stopped trying to cover every body part from head to toe with stretching/mob and concentrating on the crappy areas, particularly ankles/calves and thoracic/shoulders, its been working well for the last few weeks. Bench tomorrow, days in the gym are a little messed up but 4 days a week with at least 72 hours between each upper/lower should be easy to manage.

27/05/12 - Bench
Bench Not Very Paused 40kg x 5, 60kg x 3, 80kg x 1 @7 95kg x 1 @8 100kg x 1 @8.5 105kg x 1 x 3 @9, @9, @9.5 TnG 95kg x 3 x 4 @8.5, @8.5, @8.5, @9.5 Military 40kg x 5 @7 50kg x 5 @8 60kg x 4 @9 Facepulls 30 x 20 60 x 20 x 3 Not the best, things felt heavy again and just not happy with bench. Early pauses were a joke. Pretty sure that the reason I flatten out on the unrack is a lack of leg drive, can see in the video on the first 105 that I flatten out mid lift but as soon as I remembered to drive the legs the belly shot up and the bar speed increased. Back-offs were tough, reps were all over the place. First time pressing overhead in months when there was shoulder pain, pain-free today and felt good. Tweaked upper back a little on the bench and it was already beat up from yesterday so no shrugs, facepulls work wonders for bench pains.

All we can do is keep fighting! Crap workouts have a habit of taking it out of your mentally. I'm with you on rack pulls! I lift much better from the floor.
