Thanks LtL, me too, nice easy weekend should sort it out
![]() This is something I still need to figure out. Been testing the water this week and all except bench felt strong. I intend to work up to my openers next week and then take a deload. I'll hopefully be able to confirm that I'll be competing soon and then get some advice for it. Have you got all yours set or are you still planning?

im happy enough with them as openers , hope to set a new/equal PR on my second lift of each and then go for a balls out 3rd attempt - which will probably end in a fail or gready PR
im hopeful for a confident deload also , if it doesnt go to plan then ill revert to plan B* *get angry as fcuk as i approach the bar and bully it up!! |

14/01/12 - Push Press 3x3 25kg x 5 32.5kg x 5 37.5kg x 3 45kg x 3 50kg x 3 57.5kg x 5 Pull-Ups (PP Superset) 5,5,5,5,5 Pendlay Rows 60kg x 10,10,10,10,10 CGBP 65kg x 8,8,8,8,8 Barbell Curl/Rear Laterals 25kg/8kg's x 12/12, 12/12, 10/10 Not a bad day, push press felt quite good, pull ups were strong with no kip, rows were quite a struggle and CG's were nice and fast. The knee isn't feeling great, it's fine until I squat down and then it can be quite a nasty sharp pain. Pretty certain it's because I let the the weight transfer to my toes at the bottom of my squat yesterday and it may have strained a tendon or something. Will keep icing and heating and I've ordered some sleeves to keep heat in and see how they go. Will just avoid squat assistance on Monday and hope that it improves.
