03/02/13 - Strongman
Log Single Clean & Press Reps Strict Press 48kg x 3,3 53kg x 3 58kg x 3 63kg x 3 68kg x 3 73kg x 3 78kg x 3 83kg x 3 Push Press (Attempt, mong press better describes) 68kg x 3 88kg x 1 93kg x 2 Strict 68kg x 6 Yoke Walk 50kg x 20m 170kg x 20m x 3 210kg x 20m x 3 Axle Played around with some cleans up to 80kg. Log pressing is unbelievably fun. Most I've put overhead is 80kg for a single and with this being the 5th day of pressing this week I was pretty chuffed with a 93kg double. Some strong guys there, most of them lean too, by the sounds of it one is competing at the Arnold in a few weeks at 90kg. Will hopefully make it there at least once a month. Tomorrows fronts and close grips are probably going to be fairly light.

Ye I thought his name was Shane. They all seemed like active UK strongmen between 90 and 105. I know that Jack McIntosh and Graham Hicks train there often too. Good environment to get strong. Been meaning to do it for a while, can't wait to get back there. Thanks, certainly was fun. Quote:
