19/01/13 - Dead/Press
Sumo w/Loose Belt 200kg x 1 @8 215kg x 1 @9 PB 190kg x 3 @9 BTNPP 50kg x 5 @7 65kg x 5 @8 65kg x 5 @8 65kg x 5 @8 65kg x 5 @8 65kg x 5 @8 65kg x 5 @8 65kg x 5 @8.5 Unsure on the sumo's. They felt tough but I think it's because I'm used to breaking off the floor fast and slowing at lockout with conventional. Sumo's take a long time to break from the floor but as soon as its up I'm confident to lock out. Think this skewed the RPE's a little, just need to get used to that grinding start. Need to be tighter at the bottom, a higher/tighter belt would help a lot but not going to bother with that just yet. Presses were solid, technique improved as the sets went along so counteracted fatigue even with short rests. Shoulders feel great with dropping some bench stuff and adding more overhead in. As plans were messed up this week I've been going in with little/no plan or structure which has resulted in more testing strength than building it. One more week of surviving and then back to it properly, I have lots of ideas to play around with too. (Edit: I look like a shitting dog with that pull.)

Thanks, there seems to be a very strong positive correlation between my belly size and bench. That's probably it for this week, no time.
