Although, I could guess that they are in lbs for the most part; it wouldn't go down too well if I congratulated someone on their lift only to find it was a kg lift and I'd actually ended up inadvertantly insulting them

That saying BTB used means to take advantage of a brief opportunity (in this case, a man and his wife agreeing on something). It's very southern/midwestern in origin.

Alright, you caught me. I have a 300kg bench.
I wish... ![]() Ah, I see. Sounds more midwest than southern to me. I figured that's what he meant, but wasn't sure whether it was the wife agreeing, or just training in general. Whatever though.

I don't know about all that... Lol, I don't see myself squatting/benching/deadlifting over 300 in the near future.

Ok, now that I have a little more time on my hands, I'll give you guys an update as to where we're at with the house, and training. Maybe now I can shave my head and beard, since I haven't had a chance to since we bought the house. I'm most certainly "mountain man".
Seriously, that's how little time I have had to do anything other than the house.... We have mostly finished up what we needed to do, in order to get the carpet installed and for us to move in. There are a couple loose ends that need to be tied up, but nothing overly time consuming. Depending on how some of the paint dried up, I may need to do some paint touch ups. I may have a couple days off this week, but we're hoping we can have carpets installed this weekend so we can actually begin living there. For this to happen, I'll have to go over there during the week and begin pulling the old carpets ups - since Home Depot charges 59 cents per sqft and I'm a cheap ass. With that being said, we have: Master Bedroom - paint and ceilings finaled. Needs new outlets, switches and light fixtures. Master Bathroom - hasn't even been touched. We'll probably do that after we move in. 2nd Bedroom - paint and ceilings finaled. We put in crown molding which looks really nice. Switches, sockets and light fixtures need to be replaced. 3rd Bedroom - paint and ceilings finaled. Crown molding installed, switches and outlets have also been put in. Bathroom on 2nd Floor - paint and ceilings finaled, but needs switches, outlets, mirror and light fixture. Still needs all the decorations and all that jazz. 1st Floor - More or less, nothing. Kitchen, dining room, and living room all need paint. Kitchen is getting tiled, the entry way landing is getting tiled and new light fixtures everywhere. And of course, outlets and sockets. ![]() 1st Floor Powder Room - Painted, but not finaled. We have the light fixture and mirror, but they have yet to be installed. Had quite a bit of patching to do in that room, including the hole I made yesterday. ![]() So more or less I still have a lot of work to do. But since the upstairs is all painted (ha!), we can have carpets put in and begin moving all our junk over there. It will become much easier to do things when we don't have to drive back and forth to the house after work. Now for the ha! part of that post. These are camera phone pictures, but you can see the predicament about how we're going to tackle this. I believe we'll be paying someone to do it for us, but it will probably have to happen after we move in and all that.
