Great work both Faz and Silverback and I hope to see you logging again soon Steve! I'm sure you're lifting some ridiculous weights behind our backs!

I think I know what you mean. I'm 95 kg right now and should be 80-85. Now, other than orders of magnitude difference in the weights we lift, I feel like the extra slop I've put on this holiday season is affecting my progress as well.

My new year's resolution is to clean up my act. I'm going clean and focussed on personal goals this year. Limit distractions and smart decisions. Period. Let's see where this goes.

You will of course, crush it.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Great work as always Faz and SB! I'd start posting my workouts but who needs the embarrassment?!

Rough session. You know how they say you've gained too much weight when your Deadlift starts to feel tough. They're right. I'm sitting at around 97kg now, which is far too much for my frame, at this level of muscle anyway. I need to slim back down to the 90kg range. Anyway, last time I did these I pulled 220 for 5 singles, so today wasn't too bad.

Partial Squats were cool, I did 300 last time from 7th hole down. This was around 2-3 inches lower, makes a difference!
1st, great work!

2nd, i need this explained to me i've never heard this.

Great deadlifting Fazc!

When ever I gain weight my deadlift seems to fly up, I do tend to stay around a little less then 90kgs though.

Well since I'm in the tight Deadlift suit with belt and my usually svelte (but powerful) waistline is larger than normal it makes it quite difficult to get down to the bar in all that gear while still keeping a full belly of air.

Thanks Mab! I'm fine without the gear but the suit/belt really do make a difference in being able to get down.
