When you don't have a car, everywhere you want to go is uphill.
Pretty solid workout today. Dumbell overhead press- 35x12 45x10 55x10 65x4 40x12 40x15 Bench press starting from safety pins approx. 2" above my chest- 135x8 185x5 225x5 Dips- BWx8 +45x5 +70x3 PR +45x8 PR BWx12 Close grip incline bench press w/ pointers on the smooth- 45x12 95x12 115x12 125x9 The following 3 movements were supersetted with no rest during each superset. Pec dec- 170x12 200x8+5 partial reps 200x7+5 partial reps Lateral raises- 25x12 25x11 25x8+5 partial reps Dumbell triceps extensions while lying on the floor 25x13 25x9 25x8+5 partial reps Lots of volume today, combined with some pretty damn heavy dips which felt amazing. The dips were absolutely full ROM, coming all the way down then exploding up. I tried to do lots of heavy tricep work with the bench from the pins and the dips, combined with the incline close grip bench for some sweet hypertrophy. I'm going to need bulletproof tris at Basic, so that's what I'm going to build. I just finished my first meal of the day; 3 strips of bacon, 2 eggs and some cheddar cheese on one of those awesome wheat tortillas I mentioned the other day that only have 6 net carbs. The whole meal was less than 600 calories and less that 10g of net carbs. This first meal of the day took place at 6:30 in the evening. Have I mentioned that I really want to get under 200lb? I had 2 scoops of Xtend along with a scoop of Carnivor beef isolate protein as an intra-workout, so hopefully I was able to avoid to much catabolism while lifting weights after fasting over 18 hours. Tomorrow is a teacher work day, which means I don't have to go in to work. My wife would have to work, but she's taking the day off. Not sure what we're going to do, but I plan to get some serious cardio in, now that I've been challenged to hit 199.9 by some time Sunday.

Today's morning bodyweight- 201.6
Hungry as Hell. Off work today, so nothing to keep me busy while I fast. Doing it anyways. I had planned to do some cardio this morning but I'm aching after training yesterday and eating no carbs. I'm going to do something, just not sure what that will be yet.

Strong lifting as usual Soldier, and the progress on the training/cardio is looking good. Re: the weight, I always say it took time to put it on and takes time to take it off. With the work you're doing there's no doubt you'll nail it soon!

Thanks for the support T-bone. I'm actually the lightest I've been as an adult right now. I went over 200lb bodyweight all the way back in 8th grade at 13 years old and have been over that since, which is why it's such as awesome feeling to be back down around this weight.

Today's post-fasted cardio bodyweight- 200.0
Well, it's water weight, but I'm still very happy! I started the morning off with some foam rolling which worked very well to loosen me up and take away some of my achyness, then I went to the gym and did about 15:00 of heavy bag work and intervals of things like bench hops, while also getting in some solid ab work. After that I was going to get some time on the stair-stepper, but it wasn't working so I went outside and did 6 50 yard sprints, which took about 12 more minutes for a total of over 25:00 of solid cardio work. I also stopped by CVS and picked up some bronkaid to go with the Caffiene pills I already have. I'll be doing an EC stack for a little while to help me get over this hump. I'll have to get down around 195 during this cut in order to actually stay under 200 once I stop cutting because of the natural rebound of water weight and glycogen that will come once I go to my planned maintenance diet of carb-backloading. I took my first dose of EC right before I went to the gym, and now I feel the effects of appetite supression, which is very nice to have.

Today's morning bodyweight- 200.4
The first day back on EC stack was interesting. The lack of hunger was a crazy experience for someone who's normally always down for some food. My wife and I went to a retirement party where there was food set out, but I just ate a normal amount of food and then didn't touch any of it for the rest of the party. That's very odd for me. Normally I have a lot of trouble with food that's just laid out like that. It just calls my name and I can't think about anything else, but the EC stack changes all of that. I've got a pull day planned today in the gym today. It's going to be intense.
