Lamb (and goat) meat is just wonderful

Breakfast @ 9.15am Milk, Oats, apple, baked chips Lunch @ 12.30pm, Cheeseburger, banana bread, chocolate milk Dinner @ 7.00pm, Grilled chicken breast, Dinner rolls, mushroom soup Pre-workout @ 10.15pm, whey and milk Post-workout @ 12.00am, whey and milk Plan to put in an all nighter. May step out for an omelet and pancakes around 3am. Otherwise, I will be snacking on peanuts and almonds. Workout ... Machine Bench Press 90 x 15 160 x 5 200 x 3 sets x 5 Seated Rows 90 x 15 135 x 8 180 x 3 sets x 8 Squats 45 x 20 135 x 8 185 x 4 205 x 3 225 x 2 235 x 2 doubles 245 x 3 singles 205 x 2 sets x 5 Notes: 1)Surprisingly, singles and doubles on squats felt easier, compared to the first couple of reps of lower weights/warm ups. Feels good that the form improved at higher weights, and going deeper seemed easier as the load on the bar increased. Wonder what's happening. 2)WTF is up with machines? I can shoulder press 50 lbs more on machines, compared to bench. But I can press 30 lbs more on bench, compared to military press with free weights!! I also feel a much better pump with machines (for the chest) as opposed to barbell bench. May be this is an indicator that the pecs are much weaker with respect to delts? |
