Squat WA Fat Gripz Power Cleans: 135lbs x5, 205lbs x5, 225lbs x2 Back Squat: 135lbs x5, 225lbs x5, 325lbs x5, 345lbs x5, 365lbs xfailed (Felt a pop in my left hammy on my descent and stopped right there. Hurts like hell I think it was a lack of stretching from the past days) Box Squats: 225lbs 4x10 Pretty mad at the failure to continue with 365lbs but I listened to my body and stopped. Like I said I think I just need to stretch more at night. |

Not in my Hammy but I did pull my calf muscle once. Hurt like hell. Im alright and too stupid to quit. Did this today;
Olympic Wave A Clean and Press: 135lbs x5, 165lbs x5, 185lbs x5, 205lbs x5 SEAL FIT (Squad leader insisted on us doing this so we did) 4x5 Press/Push Press/Push Jerk FRAN 21/15/9 Thrusters (105lbs) Pullups Press 135lbs 3x3 Push Press 3x2 Push Jerk 3x1 2 mile run 1437 50 situps. Took forever and I was pretty pissed off. But like I said he insisted we do it so we did. But I did argue with him over it explaining how Im making gains with low volume while he isnt making gains with high volume. But I lost..... |

Past 2 weeks have been really hard both physically and mentally. We had LOTS of work to do at this one COP. Everyday was the same; Do guard, fill sandbags and get shot at. But I did make time as usual to workout. Did this;

A few more months. I finally got my Westside Barbell books I ordered over 2 months ago. I got a go away for a mission for a week but when I get back Im going to experiment with Westside style. Did this quick Deadlift workout tonight;
Deadlift: 225lbs x5, 315lbs x5, 345lbs x5, 405lbs x3, 455lbs x1, 505lbs x1 (Decided to go for it before I leave. I did it but with bad form. Just wanted to do it) Really tired right now got alot of stuff done today and we leave early tomorrow for a week. Lost some weight to include muscle mass but Im gonna hit it hard in a week. |

Back from the mission of hell. Rained on us everyday and we got hit hard by alot of shitheads. I lost about 20lbs in a week from this stuff. But anyway Im going to try my hand at Westside style training. Im not an expert and still dont understand it 100% but I did by "Westside book of Methods" so I could learn it. Again any suggestions or critiques are welcomed by me. I did this tonight;
