Upper and lower mobility work Romanians 135x8 Squats 45x5 135x5 225x3 315x1 added belt 315x1 365x1 405x1 325x3 x 2 sets Paused Floor Press 45x5 95x5 135x3 185x3 225x3 275x3 285x3 PR! 285x2 285x3 the 3rd rep on this set was a good 6-7 seconds long... a serious grinder! Today was strange for squats... warmups to 225 felt great! 315 the first time was terrible. Shot forward out the hole, but corrected it and pushed through. 315 second time felt heavy but in the right groove. 365 felt exactly like the second 315. 405 shot up as good as ever... best squat of the night!?! Squats wore me out, but i still managed a pr floor press... completely beat after this, so i called it a day. Last edited by Disciple X; 01-12-2012 at 09:27 PM. |

A little foam rolling and mobility work Squats 45x5 x 2 sets 135x5 225x3 275x1 315x1 Added belt 365x1 405x1 Deads 135x5 225x3 315x1 365x1 405x1 425x1 x 6 sets Worn out, broken, tired, and weak... so glad its a light week next week. Everything felt like a TON tonight. 405 bout killed me on squats. Unracked it and it wasnt stable on my back, reracked it and tried again but it was so heavy that i half squatted it and got scared... so i racked it again... finally man'd up and just grinded through... deads were just as heavy. 315 was even slow :-/ Will rest up next week best i can ,and come back at it with a vengence... |
