Welcome to the board, I have no idea how you trained heavy bench 3 times in a week. All I can do to handle one.

Well, pretty much did. Lol. I feel pretty beat... last monday was paused bench 260x3 x 4 sets (video coming) followed by close grips 230x5 x 2 sets and other accy work. Thursday did 2 board bench 330x3 x 4 sets folloeed by close grips 235x5 x 2 sets and other accy work. Saturday was 275x3 x 4 sets.

Today is supposed to be bench again =0

Going to go in and do some light dbs and maybe some speed work to get the blood flowing.

I used to bench only once a week... been going twice a week for the past two months or so and results have been great. But yeah, it definately takes a toll...

I am going to have a run soon of hitting bench heavy a couple of times a week too, never done it before and i wont do it for long but i think it will give some good results.

My 2 cents is to do an upper end day and a lower end day. Example paused work one day and 2 or 3 board the 2nd day... keeps you from burning out so fast....
