For me, of course, since I've decided only to go to 28kg KBs, it's a lot cheaper than it would be for someone like yourself that is a lot stronger and may find even the 28kg too light for OHP/OHJ.

For kiddies, the 8kg is probably the best choice. 8kg is also good for females for OHP/TGU/snatches/one arm swings 12kg is good for females for Jerks/push press/two arm swings (one arm if they feel up to it) I have swung the 28kg with two arms but I started light as well and built up to it. 16kg, I can snatch but at the moment I feel more comfortable with the highest load of 12kg for that move. I use the 12kg for the TGU but am hoping to get to the 16kg and beyond etc. I hope that may give some insight about weightloads.

Looks like I have some more sewing to do this weekend, in a good way. I managed to find a company that sells seatbelt material and delivers to this area, so I ordered myself 5m of it; that will allow me to make subsequent sets of straps.
![]() It's softer on the wrists than the jute/hessian style stuff feels, so I'm hoping to get them made and ready for use in a few days; I'll let you all know how they feel, once used. Cinema tonight

KB jerks
5 x 8kg R/L 5 x 12kg R/L 3 x 16kg R/L 20kg not today, no matter ![]() 11 x 12kg L/R 1/2 a Waiter's Press @ 12kg R, upperarm parallel to floor and held for a few seconds...maybe try that again when I'm feeling it. Really wasn't feeling it today at all.
