I always feel absolutely wrecked after the first 5 minutes but it soon passes. I carry lots of nervous energy to the gym with me I reckon. 77.5x2 77.5x2 77.5x2 - This was ok though balance was off for the first set. Shoulder feels much better now. Dynamic Shrugs - Decided to do these today as tomorrow could be brutal 100x5 120x5 125x5 130x5 140x3 150x3 - PR - Hands get cut up but the Rippetoe shrug seems to work ok. If my traps ain't hurting, I am not going heavy enough! Close Grip Bench - The 'low' bench I refer to has the bar set just 10 inches from your face. Don't know who designed it but it is far too low for proper benching IMO. As you have to lift the bar off the rack, getting tight is impossible. 75x5 75x5 75x5 Dynamic Bench 60x3 - 8 sets - better than last week Standing DB shoulder press 20x5 22.5x5 22.5x5 MUCH harder than the seated equivalent. Abs Weighted crunch + 35kg Dumbbell - 3 x 8 supersetted with Russian Twist + 15kg Dumbbell - 3 x 8 |
