Moving it tomorrow. Was just too wrecked this morning to make my usual 5.30am start. Didn't get up till 7.30am and I have far too much work today to hit the gym. It doesn't matter though, today and tomorrow were interchangeable and I do bench on Thursday so it's all good
Plus I get an extra day to finally get over this flu which is subsiding at long last.Incidentally, it's a horrible day over here. So glad I work from home I should add that to the 'things that make me happy' thread!

![]() My hands were destroyed in the warm ups which I couldn't understand. They first few sets cut my my hands badly which has never happened before. By the end of the last 5 rep set, my hands were practially bleeding. Other than that, the strength was there easily. Deadlifts 135kg: 5 x singles No problems at all barring cut hands ![]() 105kg: 5 x 5 last 2 sets hard simply because of aforementioned hand trouble. Weight was light. Abs: Rope pull down Point 16: 1 x 12 Point 17: 1 x 12 Point 18: 1 x 12 Woodchop: 10kg: 2 x 12 Cardio: Treadmill 20 mins Incline 8%, Speed: 3.6 mph Bench tomorrow

Thanks guys but I will probably wear gloves during the warm up and take them off for the heavy stuff. If I find they are tearing up in the 5x5, I will put them on again, no sense in missing a lift because I lose the grip and I don't think the gym will take kindly to my blood on their equipment
I don't need wraps or gloves for my singles and that's the main thing I guess.Since I ditched the wraps a few months ago and went bare handed as it were, my deadlift has increased monstrously. I can honestly see me hitting 400 in the deadlift in 2012. Squat will be much harder to do I reckon. |

Week 1 Day 4
Could be a problem in the bench in future since no one in the place knows how to spot and I don't want to have to ask anyone to spot me 5 times! Felt tough today but possibly because I was a bit complacent. The singles I focused on flew up. Bench: 50x8 65x5 75x3 85x1 95kg: 5 x Singles 75kg: 5 x 5 Pretty easy actually Row 62.5x5x5 Last sets felt a bit rough, really had to force the issue. Cardio: Cross country trainer machine intervals: 1 x 30 secs 2 x 25 secs 2 x 20 secs 1 x 15 secs |
