Good work P. Great bit of stealth cardio on the bench .
I like the idea if DB pullovers, will feature them in my training soon enough.

I like that. Stealth cardio. HaHa!

Great stuff, Kuyt! Bench is cruising right along and that is some wicked RDLs.

I'm with you, BB inclines are awful for me too. And frankly, I'm not a big fan of DB either as I'm always worried about doing myself a mischief heaving those bastids up there. Seems like the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

Thanks Alan.
Stealth cardio indeed. Felt surprisingly strong until about rep 11-12. Was testing the waters with the DB pullovers been a while since I did them last. A quicker 4x8 with the same weight next week.

I know! Damned inclines! DB is ok as I know how to drop 'em without getting injured Not performed heavy RDLs like that before. Will probably go for 4x8 here too but at last I have something to shoot for.

Besides the week after I cut carbs when weight return was inevitable, I have now gained weight 2 weeks running, 0.4 pounds one week and 0.6 last week. Yet this morning I was 2.4 pounds lighter than on Sunday! I'll drop 8-10 pounds in the next 8 weeks, oh yes! I just don't want to starve myself doing it! Still, my waist is noticeably slimmer and my conditioning is much better. Additionally, I look a bit more defined muscle-wise so it's been a good 12 weeks really.

Cycle 3 Week 1 Session 2
Chins
4 x 5

Clean Pulls
50x4, 60x3, 70x2
80kg: 10 x singles
Funnily enough, I had planned to do a small 6 week program for power cleans which included these and then saw Steve recommending them too. I knew then they were a good idea and a nice deadlift warm-up.

Deadlift
80x5, 100x3
125x3
142.5x3
160(352) x 4 - Just 1 rep off equalling my PR
125kg: 3 x 3 - Nice easy back off sets
(One of the regular BB'ers in the gym said 'You really love your deadlifts don't ya?') Damned right!

Good Mornings
60kg: 4 x 8
Superset with

Lat Pulldown
Pin 10: 3 x 8, 1 x 6

1 Arm Row
35kg: 4 x 8
Superset with

Upright row
30kg: 4 x 8

Arm Curls
30Kg: 1 x 8, 1 x 6, 2 x 8

Db Side Raise For Obliques
35kg: 3 x 8

Couple of months ago I would have needed an oxygen mask to complete this session. I may not be as strong but I am certainly improving my conditioning.

Strong session Kuyt ... I definitely needed an oxygen mask after this session.
Long and coupled with multiple body parts ... great going ...

A lot of good work in that session P.
Clean Pulls look good and Deadlifts are stronger at a lower bodyweight which is always win.
