Thanks, it's just past Halloween so maybe
Today I had to wait for the rack for rack pulls because 2 guys spent 20 minutes doing reverse wrist curls. The bar plus 2 x 2.5kg. It's annoying because they could do that exercise anywhere in the gym.

Weight is now 194, an increase of 1 pound in 2 weeks which annoying. My average calorie intake is below 2500 a day and I figured with my increased cardio and hard sessions, I would drop a little. My strength is returning as well and my weight belt is looser by the day so it's not all bad. I may decrease to 2300 a day but right now, training is good and my energy is excellent.

Sunday 3 Nov
Cycle 2 week 3 session 4

Supposed to take a deload now but I am visiting my brother's in 2 weeks so this week will be a proper session and the following week will be 2 sessions only, Tuesday and Thursday with bench + deads on day 1 and shoulders/squat day 2. 5 days off lifting then will constitute a rest of sorts

Power Cleans
40x5, 50x3, 60x2
70kg: 12 x singles - Took about 8 minutes. This is 80% of my 1RM.

RDL
90x5, 110x3
130(286) x 5
130x6 - PR

Shrugs
100x5
120x8
120x6 - Very poor but with deadlifts and cleans, my upper back is covered.

Pendlay Rows
65 (143) x5
65x5
65x5

Hammer Curls
20kg: 2 x 10

Reverse Curls
22.5kg: 2 x 10

DB Wrist Curls
12.5kg: 2 x 10

Knee Raises (Abs)
1 x 20, 1 x 15

Rack Pulls
140x3
170kg: 5 x singles - These fairly flew up.

Reverse wrist curls in the squat rack! That's not surprising.

Strong RDLs Kuyt. Well done.

I think reverse wrist curls should be allowed in squat rack ... because they were using monstrous wt. ... lol ... .
Strong session Kuyt ... and by the way where did you had your Reverse curls ...

Nice numbers in spite of the fact you are probably catching weakness from all of those muppets in your gym.

Thanks gang!

@LTL: I can imagine the scene if you and Hazzard walked into the gym getting ready for some heavy squats and some muppets were doing reverse wrist curls at the rack, it would be like a scene from Road House

Tues 6 November
Cycle 3 Week 1 Session 1

Bench
75x3
85x3
97.5 (215) x 4 - Better than last week.

75x14 - Most reps I have done on bench in a while, felt good.

Squat
105x5
105x5
105(231) x 5

Push Press
65kg x 5
65x3 - Grim

Incline Bench
60kg: 2 x 7 - Don't like the bench, messes up the shoulders because it is a pain to unrack because the bar is almost in your face. Dumbbells next time.

Leg Extensions
Pin 14: 10, 11 - Not done these in a long time.

Seated Calves
30kg: 20, 16 - Could feel a vein pop out of my calves

DB Pullovers
30kg: 2 x 10

Weighted Decline: 5 kg plate behind head
2 x 12
