week 6
Mon Aug 29 paused SSB squats:210+10x5,5 sumo speed pulls:275x5,5 db 1 arm swings:90+5x10,10 (each arm, 40 total) asst work Forgot to add in OP that the meet I'm training for was a push/pull. the SSB is humbling all by itself, throw in a pause, and it brutal! all in all, a great session!! speed pulls felt fantastic! will get some vids up when I have enough posts |

SSB is a safety squat bar, it moves the weight more in front of you much like a front squat, it also has handles that come over your traps. it helps prevent the elbow and shoulder stain one can get from straight bar squats. it even balances on your shoulders while you hold on to the uprights on the power rack. |
