Strong overhead pressing and deads. I've had problems with the belt and deads recently, just can't seem to find the sweet spot like I used to.

What kind of belt do you use? If you think it would be ineffective if worn any looser, have you tried lowering or raising where you wear it a bit? A few inches either way may be lest restricting on your breathing yet still provide adequate support.
