Your going to be fine. With as much as you train, your going to have bad days. Its actually a good thing. You should feel a little crappy. You have put yourself in the perfect position for your body to super compensate or peak or whatever you call it for the meet. Dont over think it. Rest up and dont run yourself into the ground. Let your body rebound from the accumulated fatigue.

Most of your sessions are awesome so chin up and smash the crap out of every weight that crosses your path on the day
Thanks kuyt and your right once I have a pretty good day I will be back.

I'm pretty sure your right, havn't missed or taken a break from lifting in 5 months and just a little fatigue. After my week of resting I should be okay!

3/17/12

Squats
365x5
365x1
365x0

Log C&P
205x2
205x2
205x2

Sumo Deadlifts
405x5
405x5
405x5

Military Press
190x2 5 pound PR
195x1 10 pound PR
195x1
195x1

Notes: Went with a pretty light weight today for squats, but anything after that first set felt like a thousand pounds. At least I got some reps though, so not all bad.

Shoulder was feeling better today so did some OHP, with log pressing the press was either very quick and powerful or a slow grinder. Military Press at first was very light, but when I bumped it up 5 pounds felt like I added 50 pounds.

At least you nailed a military pres PR after that bad squat session. Way to keep pushing.

I had to humble myself and use a much lighter weight with squats, but at least OHPing went okay today. Log Press still felt a little awkward though.

Ah you also suffer from the curse of the 5 pound mountain. It's a strange phenomenon but it does stop us from getting silly which may be a good thing. 365x5 squats is always a good day.

I also think Mike is spot on. 5 months is a lot, especially given the intensity you bring. When meet time comes, all that hard work will pay off.

Yeah, very small jumps feel enormous on militaries. Great PRs, well done!

Thanks kuyt, hoping you and mike are right about the fatigue. 365 wasn't to bad since that is my all PR with that weight.
