3/9/12

Squats
395x1 went about half way up for a second rep
395x0 didn't even make it out of the hole
395x0 Got a few inches out of the hole then fell back down.

Log C&P
200x3
200x3
200x3

Squats
355x3
355x1

Military Press
185x2
185x2
185x2
185x2
185x2

Farmers Walk (weight is for one hand) 75ft
245x1 Easy

Sidebends
100x5
100x5
100x5

Notes: I don't know what happened but squats felt like a million pounds today; I assumed that since I was able to do 385 for 2x3 that I would get at least one double. I was very wrong, warmups felt very light so was expecting a pretty good day then once I got to around 365 it just felt hard already.

200 will be the weight at the competition so just seeing how much work I would need there. I haven't worked with a log in a few weeks so it threw me a little today and was pretty heavy. I added Military Press to help work on my shoulder strength in hopes of getting my log press up a lot more by May.

The farmers at the competition will be 185 for 120ft, so not to worried. I don't have the room to practice that so I'm going to work with much heavier weights for shorter distance. Later towards the meet I will add some lighter farmers to work on speed.

Nice to see the 300 went up, great work. Hopefully a one off squat session, strong overhead pressing nonetheless.

Brush it off. You still did some great work. 5 pounds can make a huge difference.

Have a great weekend hombre.

Thanks mike, you and BtB were a lot of help. You with boards and bands, while BtB helped me set the routine up.

Thanks J, my squats session seem to go like this: strong squats/weak OHP followed by weak squats/strong OHP.

Already have BtB thanks, just need to come back next week and smash it!

3/10/12

20mins another 2,000 jumps with a jump rope, again very easy.

Woke up this morning feeling as though I had a great squat session last night.

Also I hope everyone has a great weekend!
