That made me laugh too!

Also thanks a lot, that truly does mean a lot to me.

Notes: Just wasn't in it tonight, the first few warmups on deads felt fine but once I got to 405 I knew it wasn't a strong night. My goal had been to get 4 reps on at least one set and to get 435 for 10. Tonight neither happened, 435 just felt really heavy and I made a few errors with 485. A few of the 485s I tried to "pull" and not deadlift not giving me enough speed to get past my sticking points. Not my greatest night but trust me next week I'm getting 5 reps then 10.

Was really happy with c&p, tonight if I could clean it I could press it. Only reason I stopped was that my speed on the clean was slowing down a lot, all the pressing felt very light.

Really wanted 405 with andersons but after that first rep I knew it just wasn't going to happen, don't really know why I even tried the next two attempts.

Could have done more with sidebends but my hands were starting to give out and my straps really only work with deadlift.

Strong C&P PR. You'll smash those deads next time round.

I give you a lot of credit MAB. You crushed a lot of good deadlift sets even when feeling sub-par, and then came back and destroyed rack pulls.

So you hit two 485 trebles on deadlift and 'are not feeling it'. I'd hate to see what you'd lift if you were up for it

When did you first start lifting? And what were you lifting 12 months ago? I ask because I'd like to see how quickly you have progressed (for inspiration purposes mainly

Thanks J, was really surprised just how light that C&P felt!

Thanks BtB rack pulls felt great last night.

Still a bit angry, I know I could have done more but I kept making the mistake of starting the pull with my back and not legs. Stupid mistakes like that held me back.

Thanks kuyt, just felt like I could have done more.

I was looking through my old logs and 12 months ago I wasn't squating, deadlift was about 320ish with rounded back, and bench was 225 with no chest touch(about 4inches above chest if I remember right).

I "started" about 2/2 1/2 years ago, but I was all curls. I also did a lot of circuit training with bodyweight and very light weight. At the time I started I was still trying to lose those last 20 or so pounds. Only reason I even started was that every Tues and Thurs at the place I boxed we would all work together and do these circuits to see who could last the longest.

2/22/12
30 mins of sprinting, pretty fast tonight had some problems with side stitches towards the last few laps though.

Notes: The saying that your body lies was very true tonight for two different reasons. This morning I woke up feeling like I had a cold (sore throat, sore body), and still felt pretty bad through warm ups. Yet I got 295 for 5 singles . On banded bench though the first two reps were always very easy and flew up, but when I went for a 3rd rep it was the biggest grinder of the night.

I'm really liking banded bench, I like how it help me be a lot more explosive off my chest but still adds a lot of weight for my lockout.

Added in Pullups to even my push/pull ratio out a little, really like them and felt really good afterwards. Rows sucked tonight though because of them, had to use my whole body to get it started.

Starting to get really bored of concentration curls might do ez-bar again for a little bit and see how that goes.

Strong benching, 5 paused singles with PB? You will be the otherside of 300 in no time. Those are some heavy ass rows too.
