12/27/11

Deadlift

455x2
455x2

Rack Pulls
445x2
445x2
445x1
445x2
445x2

Anderson Squat From the Hole
275x1
275x1
275x1
275x1
275x1

Situps
45x15
45x15
45x15
45x15

Notes: Felt really good, deadlifts flew up with ease. Found an old ammonia capsule from my first meet and just destroyed the first set of DL.

Tried on my new pair of squat shoes for anderson and felt really good during warm ups and playing around with them. When I actually started andersons though from below parallel I couldn't lift anything above 275. I didn't realize rebound had that much of an impact on squats.

I see guys doing 800-1000 pound partial and I am baffled. No way I could come close.

I have done 336 in competition before but can't even start 295!

Not sure if I'm going to add weight to the bottom or start over from the top but with a 405 1/4 squat, 365-375 1/2 squat, then a 315 squat from the hole.

Pretty good, slept about 10 hours (love winter break) and been on a super high calorie surplus.

Log Clean and Press

210x1
210x1

Farmer Deadlift
(each hand)
255x1
255x1
255x1
255x1
255x1
255x1
255x1
255x1
255x1
255x1

Sidebends
50x20
50x20

Notes: Warm up for squats felt very light so of course the worksets were all grinders.

Even though I was only getting singles on log c&p each rep felt very solid.

Was raining outside so again couldn't do farmers walk so I had to improvise with farmer deadlift.
