That's my wife's Squat leverage machine. I use it for shrugs, calf raise , over head press and it's good for split squat .

Split squat may be the option to build my quads up as you mentioned Steve.

Romanian dead lift with 25 lb plates so it's a deficit
95x10
135x10
185x10. Good stretch and good work for grip as all done with bare hands o/o grip

Deficit sumo dead lifts to make quads work more
185x10x2
185x12 Legs and grip were worked here. Will move up 10 lbs next time
I used 205 last week but with 45's on bar so I did not have to squat as far, this felt much heavier.

Total time 50 minutes.

Good session , will work dead lifts alternating weekly. Romanian deficit style the last day home and when I come in off boat next Tuesday I will do regular dead lifts.

Squatting felt good today but I have not had a lot of carbs this weekend other then drinking Saturday night . I'm surprised I was able to push 270 today but I believe I have had it in me for quite some time .
I will continue trying to get use to pushing hard on squat so my dead lift number can come up.
I will train to get a 300 lb ATG squat and 400 lb dead lift and atleast go for a 250 lb bench .

I'm not use to such low rep training but I figure if I get my 1 rep strength up then my 10 rep will shift upwards as well. Was planning on cutting as usual starting in march but really considering bulking as I have this summer. I'm not to fat concidering the Amount of muscle I have added on this bulk.

No vid today . Phone was on charger and that is also my video camera.

Next Tuesday I will go for 275x1, ill get a video.
I do think I had another rep in me on the last set of 225. I stopped at 4 but wish I had went for 5 reps .

Congratz on your deep PR of 270 Chad!! I also loved all the deficit work.Sort of looks like your powerbuilding with the mix of low and high rep lifts. I have always held the opinion that size follows strength.

Power building is a good description of what I'm doing. Build strength on main lift each day. Rep out after on other lifts .
