BruteForce: Power Overwhelming
Thought I would get a log started up here. Yeah, maybe the title is a bit much, but I'll grow into it. Not doing my usual lifts today, letting my shoulder heal up first. Tomorrow I'm going to try deadlifts and see how it goes.
Current Maxes: Bench:215 Squat:275 Deadlift:405 Next week am re-evaluating maxes and am hoping to break into the 900# club My Paleo cut is going fantastically right now. Got numbers back from a measurement based body fat calculation from a good fellow, and am happy to see that I don't seem to be losing muscle on this cut. Numbers follow 6 weeks ago First set: Your body fat percentage = 26% Your total body fat = 68.90 lbs Your fat free mass = 196.10 lbs this week Second set: Your body fat percentage = 22% Your total body fat = 55.66 lbs Your fat free mass = 197.34 lbs Not bad for a month and a half. |

Deadlift day today. Best day of the week. Saturday late morning is usually pretty empty at my gym, which is always a plus when doing lifts that don't need spots.
Cleaned the kitchen and bathroom at my house before leaving, actually one of the better warmups I've done. 5 minute brisk walk Deadlift 135x10 225x5 305x5 - is there anything on this bar? 325x5 - feels like I'm warming up 345x5 - light weight (PR +10 pounds for number of reps) 225x8x5 +20 pounds from last BBB dead session Weighted Situps 25#x10 - shoulder wasn't impressed. Stopped before it got worse Calf Raise BW+120x15/12/12 Very pleased with the deadlifts today. I went in being nervous about 345, didn't think I could get 5 reps, but I could have had 8 easy. The bar near the platform was new, dug into my hands nicely, no grip issues like the older, slicker bars. |

Looking good man, and congrats on the fat loss. Boring but Big wrecks you, but it is so awesome for form work/hypertrophy. Keep up the good wor.
