Thanks Spart! Whenever I hit deadlifts over 400 pounds, I feel strong until I think about the big oly lifters cleaning it!

So, I've eaten like crap all week, pizza, wings, burritos, nachos, etc. Massive caloric surplus every day. Gained a couple pounds, hit some PRs. This is surprising because I usually gain 10 pounds after a day or two and don't get stronger. Things have been going right.

Bench:
45 x 5
95 x 5
135 x 5
185 x 3
205 x 1 - felt really light
230 x 1 - still felt really light
230 x 1
230 x 1
230 x 1
230 x 1
240 x 1 - PR + 10 pounds!
200 x 5
200 x 4
200 x 5 14 Reps, PR for this weight

DB Row
70 x 8
70 x 8
70 x 8 + 1 set

Squat
45 x 5
135 x 5
225 x 1
205 x 5 - interrupted here by gym management trying to force me to sign a new contract. I refused and told them that I would be happy to resume the contract as it had been, but would not sign up for another 3 years. Apparently people don't tell them no often, and they are passing it on to the owners. meh. Still a damn good day!

Three year gym contract? That sucks.

Some very strong work in here. Those cleans and push presses are impressive. Aren't you very tall too? It can't be easy for a tall guy to do overhead work.

That is massive bench and OH pressing! Great cleans too. I know what you mean too. When you hit the wall with them, you almost literally have no pop left at all. Nice rack PR too. 500 soon.

Great work!

Smashing PRs like a machine.

Time to set a May date to lift. Let me know which weekends work well. PM me when you get a chance.
