Thanks BtB! Passing 200 is a big confidence booster. My push press is closing in on my bench, which is exactly what I want, except about 200 pounds heavier for each.

My strict OHP is about 80% of my bench, so I imagine if I did do a push press it would be more around 85%.

Always good to see strong OHP numbers in relation to bench.

Another good day today. It was a lot harder today than last week, but the numbers were pretty decent. A big part of the issue was soreness in my lower back from the work on Saturday, so I used a belt for all of my squats, which seemed to help a lot.

Power Clean

Squat

95 x 5

280 x 1 + 5 pounds for the 4 singles
305 x 1 + 10 pounds for the final single

235 x 4 - + 10 pounds and 1 rep for rep work

Bench was hard after squatting, but went ok once I started the rep goal

175 x 5 - 23 reps + 5 pounds, down 1 rep from last week

no rows, back was completely worn out. rowing tomorrow.

I wish I could say it was a pretty lift, but it was pretty tough. the descent went ok, but my hips rose too fast on the ascent and i lost the tightness in my back in the hole. More things to work on.
