Good work bro.

Thanks Mab. I am thinking some of it also may be not having done farmers walks for 6 weeks, those may have been helping more than i thought.

So, my barbell rows suck. Pretty hard. In light of that, I will be working on them every day until they don't suck. I can't move enough weight on them yet to worry about doing too much work, so 50 reps a day minimum. And since I have everything I need to that here in the garage, its no big deal to get them in on off days.

BB Row - I have no idea how much the bar weighs, need to get the scale out and check, but i'm guessing 20 pounds.

70 x 10
120 x 5 x 10 - last set was underhand grip

I may lighten the weight a little, there was too much upper body movement at the end of the sets, and honestly, I can never feel rows in my back. I'm wondering if its because there's no weight on the bar.

Edit: Before I forget again, a couple of tire flips too, getting it out of the way so I could get access to the bars. I can flip a 500 pound tire, but can barely row 135 for reps. Go figure.

Thanks BtB. Really hoping it pays off in the long run.

Really great day under the bar today. Lots of frustration, but equal amounts of inspiration.

Bench was amazing. If I had done it a little differently, PR city, but we were pretty close as is. I completely changed my form today, tucked my legs back, figured out how the hell everyone lifts themselves up off the bench and into the arch, got my legs into it. 205 felt like 95. 215 was too easy. I tried for a new PR, but by that time, my legs were jelly and couldn't give me any drive any more. Still, a damn good day, doubling my heavy single from 6 weeks ago.

Bench
45 x 10
95 x 7
135 x 5
185 x 3
205 x 3
205 x 1
205 x 1
205 x 1
215 x 2
215 x 2
235 x 0
215 x 1
215 x 1
215 x 1

Squats were a nightmare at first. My legs were gone, my back was fatigued, I couldn't stay upright, my weight ended up on my toes. I tried high bar, low bar, nothing felt right. Then I tried high bar narrow stance. Felt good. Low bar wide stance. Revelation. Getting my feet shoulder width apart in the low bar stance is good. I could sit back better, keep my back arched better, stay up right. Win.

Squat
45 x 5
95 x 5
135 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 3 x 3
225 x 23 singles as I got things figured out

BB Row
95 x 5 x 10 - these felt good and looked pretty decent too.

23 singles! That will get things done.

That's rock solid progress. Should translate well to the 1RM.

Thanks Guys!

Quick workout today, cut a little short by a thunderstorm, but got everything in that I needed to.

BB Row SS Power Clean and press
75 x 10 / 75 x 5
125 x 10 / 125 x 3
125 x 10 / 125 x 3
95 x 10 / 95 x 3
95 x 10 / 95 x 3
95 x 10 / 95 x 3
95 x 10 / 95 x 3

Tire Flips
Tire x 6 - so slooow. It may take a few weeks to get quick with these again.

Farmers Walk
55 x 200 feet
105 x 60 feet - I'm missing a spin lock for one of the DBs, so the plates kept sliding off.

Lot of fun, glad I packed it in when I did, the storm is a pretty good one today.
