Awesome! A 20 lb PR in deadlifts is a BiG jump. You must be pumped up.

Alright brute! That's the way to do it! I'll join you at 2pps for bench soon, but give me a year for the deads. Nice job!

Thanks OR! Its nice to get them moving again. They had been stuck at an iffy 405 for 6 months, then took another 6 months to make 435 with straps. Grip barely held today, but 455 no straps, no chalk, I'm pretty stoked!

You'll get there sooner than you think! Thanks, and I'm looking forward to congratulating you when you hit 2 wheels on the bench.

Thanks BtB. I would like to hit 5 pps by the end of April, and I think I can do that. I'm feeling more and more like I have a chance at putting up some good numbers. Now I just have to get my squat to 315!

A side note. I've majorly upped my fat intake over the past 4-5 weeks. While I realize that its not to pharmacological scale, my test levels seem to be up. I'm getting acne on my upper back/neck and face for the first time since my very early 20s. My aggression in the gym is getting more noticeable. Case in point - today.

I stay pretty quiet most of the time, I try not to crowd people or get overly aggressive. Deadlifts change that for the rest of the day, and more so lately. My girlfriend has been doing farmers walks (with more weight than I see most people use. Not sure what toting 25 pound DBs around is supposed to do, but she's been wandering around with 60s) Couple if dipwads moved into her way during the middle of the walk. I shouted at them that someone was coming through, they didn't give a damn and she had to go around them. No big deal, but it pissed me off.

The obvious course of action is to walk a different route next time. Instead, I grabbed the 130s and walked at speed right at them. They jumped out of the way and stayed away for the rest of the time we were there. New PR on that, BTW, 20 seconds for 100 feet.

Ran the numbers today, and I so getting close to a 1000 lb total. Hoping to hit this by early March.

Squat - 275
Bench - 225
Dead - 455
------------
Total - 955

If my grip holds, I think I've got another 20 pounds in my deadlift right now, and maybe 5 more in my bench. Squat singles are going to be at 275 next week, so I think I should be able to add to that lift soon as well. I'm planning on retesting maxes in about a month, so we'll see what happens.

I have noticed an increase in aggression since running Paleo. Looks like hype I know, but my test levels were pretty low the last several years. I feel like they are bouncing back. I ate a low fat diet for so long.

Thanks OR. I'm honestly so inexperienced with all this that I'm not sure what I good time frame is, but after 1000 the next goal is 1200.

Very good session today. I felt something I usually don't and have never chased, the burn. Squats were amazing, nice and deep, very smooth, very taxing. I want to make every set like these.

Squats
95 x 5
135 x 5
175 x 8/8/8 - about 75 seconds between sets.

Pendlay Rows
145 x 5/5/5 - lightened it up a little and they all felt good

BTNP
135 x 5/5/5 - Rep PR

CGBP
135 x 5
175 x 4/4 - Almost had 5 on the last set, but my wrists did something weird and I nearly dumped the bar onto my stomach. Hooray for spotters.

Crunch/Sit-up/Who knows
10/10/10 I don't really know which is which, but I felt it in my abs instead of my hips for once, so its a win.
