Really strong workout!!! Congratulations on the PR, that is some pretty beast Deadlifting.
Screw the people in your gym. They sound like pansies. Maybe it's time to find a new. It doesn't sound like a fit with someone who has Power Overwhelming. I know it's sometimes not easy just to move gyms sometimes, but Geesh, they sound really annoying.
Great effort, great work, and great progression. Keep it up!

The best part was the look she had when I explained to her that I was very sorry that the noise frightened her, but I'm still going to finish the set. I'm not sure she's had guys say "no" before.

Thanks Josh. I really wish there was a better option around here, but there just isn't much around that I've been able to find within a reasonable driving distance. There's a full on powerlifting gym about 75 minutes away, but I can't afford to spend that much time on the road. Still, with 5 wheels in sight, I'm not going to let a bunch of pencil necked paper pushers slow me down.

Seriously, the clanging of plates, in a gym with metal plates, "scared" her? Did she think none of them ever moved or touched each other? I realize she was just making an excuse, but seriously, that's all she could come up with? Pity.

Very nice deadlifting too!

Most people seem to be confused that I put a bar on my back and sit down with it, just to stand back up again. Why I would then go on to load a bar on the floor, pick up all those plates at once and attached to a bar is beyond them. it would be so much easier and quieter to just pick them up one at a time!

Hard day, but made some decent progress on Power cleans and squats. Brutal back pump today. Was sore going into it, and had trouble making it down to the bar for the first few cleans, but made it through.

Power Clean and press
Warmup
160 x 10 singles + 5 pounds from last week

Squats
Warmup
185 x5/5/5
135 x 17 + 2 reps

Dips
BW x 7/7/7/7/5 same as last week

Worn out, but aside from the sore back, I don't feel too beat up. The bulking style eating is helping some. Knee did better on power cleans, especially after the first 5 reps were done, I managed to stay more upright and it took some stress of the tendons.

Good work! Glad to hear the knee is getting better and better.

I know what you mean about getting low for the cleans when your back is sore! Nice job ignoring it and getting it done anyway. Your cleans are creeping up there, too! Jacking and pressing two wheels is on the horizon.
