I went into the gym with the firm resolution to stretch, foam roll, and do some easy cardio, but I was weak and found myself in the squat rack. I did manage to stay away from the movements that have been stressing my knee a little, and I made progress on squats, so overall a good day. Felt 98% today, yesterday's malaise was gone, which was partially due to the coffee my girlfriend made me for Sunday breakfast. It was decaf. Caffeine withdrawal sucks.
Squats Warmup 230x1 215 x 5/5/4 - +2 reps from last week Seated BTN Press 135x5/5/4 big rep PR Farmers walk 120 x 100 feet, 60 feet No pain in the knee, very little stress on the ligaments and tendons, and I feel pretty energized after the session today. |

Thanks Pull. Today it was doing fine except for sitting in the floor for 30 minutes playing video games, trying to sit cross-legged is not so awesome yet. We'll see how it holds out on deads tomorrow, but I think it will be just fine.

Thanks OR. Today was PR city. Only downside was the gym owners were very upset with my for not babying the weight down on deadlifts. The asked "Do you need someone to spot you", sent the supposedly hot girl over to tell me "it scared her" and ended up saying " you're going to damage the (rubber) oly platform) Blech.
I wasn't dropping the weight, I lowered it under control, but 405 makes noise. Can't wait till I have my own setup. Deadlifts 135x7 225x5 315x3 365x1 405 x 10 singles in 8 minutes - ridiculous PR. A year ago, 405 was almost impossible. Bench Bar x lots 95x7 135x5 155x3 185 x 6/6/8 finally got my 20 reps. This has been brutal, but its progressing. Goblet Squat 50x8/8/8 first set was a little tough on the knee, but I loosened up quickly and made ATG on the last 2 sets. Assisted Chins BW-50 x 4/3/2 |

Thanks Swede! I'm tempted to test my max, but I want to ride this for a while longer and get as strong as I can without burning out. Maybe in a month or so, last max pull was 435 and very shaky, so I think I will blast through that no problem
