Good job on the buy! I appreciate a good deal!

Thanks Guys. These should keep me busy for a while, at least until I'm ready to invest in some good Olympic plates.

Today went very very well. I smashed one of my fingers yesterday in my dad's shop, and its still swollen and purple, but I got most everything in anyway. Squats were the best I've ever done where form is concerned, I had the bar just a little higher on the back, and it felt light when unracking.

Power Clean
150x3 reps x 5 sets

Squats
Warmup
185x2
205x8/7/5 - brutal. Now that I'm getting my damn knees out of the way better, I am able to focus on arching my back harder and staying a little more upright. Knee felt great during these

Push Press
160x5/5/4 - Rep PR Ligaments on the outer back on the knee were a little painful after the sets, but stretching my calves between sets helped a lot with it.

Farmers Walk
105 x 100 feet - This was where my finger was limiting me. My grip always feels weak after push presses, so I went a little lighter today and it went pretty well.

Looking good. What was your previous squat 1RM?

Breaking parallel its 245. I hit 295 back when I didn't know what parallel meant, so that doesn't count for much. I'm hoping to be repping 315 by April.

Great Session man. You are really hitting it hard. Hope that finger heals up!

With how hard you're working I think a 370-400 1RM will happen in 2012.

Excellent work, with a smashed finger to boot! You'll be jacking those squats up there in no time. Nice volume on those cleans too! Those leave me gasping, but at least you know you're fully warmed up for anything after starting with them!

That would be awesome. I'm willing to put in the work to get there, which is going to include upping food intake. I'm always nervous about putting on weight, but its worth it in the long run I think.

Great session today. Deadlifts were brutal, and I missed my time limit on them, so looks like 395 again next week. I may have been able to hit it if I hadn't been interrupted during them by another guy asking about my training, but I'm not convinced I could have gone much quicker. Last few reps barely made it.

Deadlift
135x7
225x5
315x3
365x1 - This time last year pulling 365 meant I was done for the day. I pulled 405 once at the end of the year, but it was ugly as hell and with straps.
395x 10 singles over 13 minutes

Goblet Squats
45x5/5/5 - They're back! Very deep, feel ok on knee now. It definitely is tight on them, but no real pain and the stretch is good.

Bench
Warmup
185x5/5/5 - Going to try to get 20 reps over 3 sets before I move up in weight. My bench is too hit or miss with heavier weights, and I feel that I need to master 185 first
135x12

Assisted Chins
-50x5/5/3 - I had nothing left at this point, but I got some good reps in

Decline Sit-ups
BWx 10/10/5 - Hands behind the head. I can go all day with plates on my chest, but putting my hands behind my head makes it much tougher.

BB Curl
100x5 - just for the hell of it.
