8-10 oz sausage and beef in marinara (spaghetti sans noodles) 1 scoop protein powder 16 oz pork steak w 6 oz cauliflower hamburger with cheese (8 oz burger) 16 oz ground beef taco salad with 4 oz cheese and a fair bit of sour cream |

It sure does.
Crushed it in the gym today. Last week I stapled myself on 175 bench. This week I rammed 4 sets at 180 like a boss. Deads felt pretty good, grip issues at 405 with a slick bar. Deadlift 135x7 205x10 245x5 295x3 315x2 355x1x5 405x1x2 355 singles felt snappy. Hips rose a little too fast, but not too bad. Goblet Squat BWx10 90x8x3 Bench Barx15 95x5 135x5 155x2 180x5x4 Chin BWx3x5 - still improving, but still a fair ways to go. Negatives are much more controlled this week. Very pleased with this session. My training is intense (for me at least) and heavy enough to keep me interested. Chomping at the bit to get to Friday's power cleans! |

Thanks Pull! In 5 weeks I'm going to try to bust my old PR wide open. Got a grinding 435 4 weeks ago, trying for 450 then. Then going to keep going for PR's every other week after that till I miss.Hoping to hit at least 475 by the end of the year.

Hang in there with deadlift. The journey from 375 to 450 seemed to take me forever.
