Thanks BtB. I've been trying not to sink quite so low, good to know that at least some of them aren't getting as deep. Never though I would say that!

Cut is going slow, but going. I'll look to speed it up some after this meet, but the scale is still moving in the right direction.

Is it your right wrist? That one seems to go under the bar some on the heavier feeling reps. You might try wrapping those wrist wraps up around the back of your hand and crank them tight. That'll make it harder for your wrist to bend back any. I've recently started doing that and it helps me.
Thanks Mike. It's actually my left wrist that bugs me. I'm wondering if I'm taking too much weight on my thumb. I'll pay closer attention next squat day.

Good bench day today.

Bench
Bar x 10
135 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 1
245 x 1
205 x 8
205 x 7
205 x 6
205 x 6 - 27 total. 30 will fall next week.

Lat Pull Down
145 x 12
145 x 7
145 x 6 - this got hard out of nowhere. I'm wondering if they did something to the machine as a month ago 140 was EZ mode.

BTNP
115 x 3
135 x 8
135 x 4
135 x 3 - triceps were dying early

Skipped curls as my wrist isn't real happy. Don't want to get too injured before the meet.

Don't get any injured befor the meet Brute!

They should have curling comps at meets! Even if its just a fun thing that doesn't officially count. Sort of like a demonstration sport at the Olympics.

I will make note of your promise for 30 reps for next week!

Great work Brute! Wondering about the huge ammount of drop set reps, is there a specific reason for doing them vs going up in weight? Keep working hard cave troll!!! !!!

Haha, thanks Jim! No injuries are best! I think I may hold off on the reps though, my neck is acting up again and bench is usually what kills it. Save it for the platform.

The reps at the end are my main focus, pushing as hard as I can until I hit 30 reps over 4 sets. Everything before that is warmup.

Thanks buddy!

Good Squat day today. One of the trainers just hung out and watched, and several asked me why I didn't use a pad and why go so deep. Which is funny, because today I was trying to not go as deep. The upside, very little strain in my left adductor!

Squats
135 x 3
225 x 3
275 x 1
315 x 1
335 x 1
275 x 6
275 x 5
275 x 6
275 x 5 ------+ 4 reps from last week. yeah buddy. 8 more reps and I can add weight

Leg Press
350 x 10 - 5 second negative, explode at the bottom. Just for fun since it was packed and I needed to get back to work

Sheesh man that 335 was buried. At the meet I think you should go for it with normal depth and then on attempt 3 load the bar and see what happens.

Have you ever failed a rep?

It's been a long time. I missed 225 about a year ago when I was going for a rep max. Other than that, not really, just unracked a few I knew weren't going anywhere and put it back. I don't think I've missed a squat single before.
