Thanks Steve! Quote:
Good day today. My numbers still seem piddly to me on these lifts, but we're getting there, one rep at a time. Clean once, then press for reps Bar x 10 95 x 5 115 x 3 125 x 10 125 x 8 125 x 6 125 x 6 - finally made all the reps! BB Row 135 x 5 185 x 3 225 x 3 275 x 1 210 x 8 210 x 6 210 x 7 DB Bench - the pressing before hand is taking it out of me, but thats ok. this is accessory. I have to keep reminding myself of that 45 x 5 60 x 3 75 x 9 75 x 7 75 x 5 75 x 5 Hammer Curl 45 x 11 45 x 8 45 x 6 - staying here until my regular curls catch up. more reps can't be a bad thing Lying triceps extension (may not be the right name, but i'm calling it that) 50 x 20 50 x 10 - my god the burn... using this weight until i can hit 40 in 2 sets. BB Curl 40 x 20

Good to see those row numbers inching up. Once you hit 225 for 10s you're in a pretty strong place. They are tracking as strong, or stronger than your bench press which is what I like to see.

Thanks Buddy! Thanks Swede! Thanks KD! 1 arm DB rows really seem to have helped as well. Quote:
So, 2 prs today. Some personal crap is making it hard to focus, and reps were out of the question on squats today. Lack of focus and reps is a recipe for disaster. Squat 135 x 5 Add belt 135 x 5 185 x 3 225 x 3 275 x 3 315 x 1 355 x 1 - PR + 10 pounds. Video at the bottom. Power Shrug 135 x 5 225 x 5 315 x 5 405 x 5 495 x 5 - PR for a decent shrug at the top Rack Pull - to burn off some rage. 585 x 1 655 x 1 725 x 1 815 x 1 - I say strange things to myself before I do attempts like this. But it's only weird if it doesn't work. Squat vid

Depth looked great on the squat Brute, but I thought it was a bit Good Morning-ish with forward lean. Staying more upright is tough. I had the same problem awhile back and Steve suggested a High Bar Squat, which worked for me, along with a few other adjustments. I am sure he will be able to give more advice on it.
815 Rack Pull is out of this world!! Wow!! I have never dated anyone with an 800+ pull before!! I may have to put my tail between my legs when we max attempt!!
