Thanks Swede! Next time, I'm getting more sets of reps on that 235! I kind of like it better than even the sets of 20. The leg press is rough on my strains at heavy weight, and I'm not sure thats something I need to strain on like that Thanks Ravi! Thanks ED! Quote:

Pretty good bench day. Left forearm is till feeling strained, so cut curls short. Got brutal on rack pulls for the hell of it. Bench Bar x lots - focus on form tips. dear god there are a lot of them 135 x 5 185 x 1 205 x 1 225 x 1 245 x 1 250 x 1 185 x 12 185 x 6 - wuuuuuut. nothing left 185 x 6 185 x 6 - crazy triceps and forearm pump DB Row 95 x 20 - all i could talk myself into Brute Press - finally hit it. 60 x 8 60 x 7 60 x 5 - had to bent press the last rep ,but it counts DB Curl 45 x 5 - didn't feel heavy, just rough on the forearm Rack Pull 225 x 5 405 x 5 585 x 1 675 x 1 - win.

Surreal. On the way down, I was able to stay pretty tight, but it drifted back towards my neck about 1/3 of the way back up. From there it was just a slow lockout, but didn't feel heavy. Bench is weird.

250 bench is awesome too. Bench is weird, but you are making solid steady progress. And saving a heavy bench rep that creeps up towards your face is a good sign you had more in you. 275 soon. I love your down sets.

Super impressive rack pull, which is no surprise really considering that your deadlift is equally great in form and strength.
Great job on your signature presses as well. ![]() Had to chuckle a bit that bench is weird - it's also the toughest technical lift IMO. No wonder there is a bench only at meets. 20 reps with DB Rows would have me running to the bucket to hurl. Great job keeping the lunch down.
