Push Press. Broke some PR's. Figured out my form for power cleans/hang cleans/whatever.
Clean & Press - clean the weight then push press for justice Barx15 95x5 115x3 135x3 145x3 155x5 - PR +2 above prescribed 165x1 175x0 85x10x5 - 30 out of 50 done with no push from legs. Kipping Chins BWx3x4 - It may take a while before these would be considered decent, but its a start Dips BWx2x3 Have to work on getting deeper and not swaying, but better than before Hang Clean 95x5x5 - Form was pretty good. Able to jump, catch the bar on my delts, land both feet at the same time. Pretty happy. Now I just need 90 more pounds in 6 days. |

Thanks OR. Its such light weight that I'm always surprised how much it takes out of me. Looking forward to 2PPS on it.
Sunday weigh in 254 even. Up 1 pound from last week. Not bad considering to 10-12k calories Tuesday night. Down 5.8 pounds from Thursday. Water uptake and release is an amazing thing. |

Fun with tires.
Went to the next town over to practice cleans and flip a tire for a while. Power Clean Barx10 95x3 105x3 115x3 125x3 135x3 145x3 155x1 165x1 175x0 155x1 175x1 175x1 185x0 - so damn close. slid off of my shoulders. Something popped in my left forearm after this and was very painful, so I stopped there. Arm feels ok now, but a little sore. Tire time. Big ass tirex 50 yards x2 trips. This was enough. Plan on adding 1 more trip every week. This is my kind of conditioning. It was hard, but way more fun than running. |

Thanks. I really kind of prefer this sort of session to what I've done in the past. Once the strongman comp next weekend is done, I may look at switching things up a bit.
Here's my tire. 12 ply. Guessing 350-400 pounds? I've seen a fair number of videos of people with tires around this size saying 500 but it really just didnt feel that heavy.
